DESCRIPTION

This is a Rover 75 2.0 Classic SE CDT Tourer 5 Door presented to you in gold metallic with a contrasting beige velour interior, in superb condition. Mechanically my mechanics have found no faults, which further confirms how well maintained this car has been kept.

EXTERIOR

Outside the metallic gold paintwork shines and glistens. However as I have already said I AM ULTRA FUSSY about my descriptions and therefore what follows is my detailed description of the external cosmetic defects I have spotted, but I want to emphasise that these marks are all very minor and are not really apparent unless you look for them closely. Ok the defects are as follows:- there are a few very small stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet, there are a few little stone chips down the edge of the off side front door, there is a small scratch and stone chip on the off side rear quarter, there is a small scuff on the off side rear bumper, there are a few light scratches, a small scuff and chip on the near side rear bumper, there are a few little scratches on the near side front door, there is a small scuff on the near side mirror and there is a small dent at the top off the off side front door. (The above minor cosmetic defects are shown in the photographs below).

INTERIOR

The interior of this car is in exceptional condition, the only minor defect is a small cigarette burn in the drivers seat and one on the rear seat.

PRICE

I am offering a very low buy it now price of only £4250, research will show you that most other dealers will have this car up at £5495, so here is your chance to get a good size diesel estate car at a superb price.

WHAT'S IT LIKE?

The 75 weighs in against aspirational rivals such as 3-Series, Lexus IS and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, next to which it looks middle-aged. But it's a step up from Mondeo and Vectra status-wise, and falling prices make it a classy alternative. 75 has a fine pedigree and is refined, respectable, composed and comfortable. The Tourer estate and the MG ZT/ZTT spin-offs have helped to raise the 75's image still further and the Tourer is argueably more desirable than its saloon stablemate. It's not a sporting exec in the mould of the BMW 3-Series but offers a very cosseting ride which really does the job if you're after comfort - all models are front wheel driven except range topping V8 which smokes its back tyres. A reasonable level of safety and security equipment is fitted. You're unlikely to have it nicked thanks to an alarm and immobiliser. It scored very well in Euro NCAP crash tests with four stars, and all models have at least four airbags.
