2002 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Princess's death and the setting up of the Fund. As a dual tribute, commemorating the life of the Princess and the continuing work of her Memorial Fund, the Royal Mint has issued this special coin collection. Containing three 22 carat gold coins from the Channel Islands of Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey, just 750 collections will be issued. The coins, each with a face value of Twenty-Five pounds, share a portrait of the Princess and the message of the memorial Fund - THE WORK CONTINUES.
