2002 FORD MONDEO GHIA BLACK WITH LPG GAS CONVERSION

Hi and welcome to the auction for my mum's 02 plate Ford Mondeo Ghia 2.0 litre petrol with sequential gas conversion. It is finished in Fords finest colour, Panther Black.

She is the 4th owner and has owned the car since September 2007. It is mot'd until October 2010 and taxed until the end of March 2010. We have the installation certificate for the gas system.

There is a genuine reason for sale, its time to downsize to a smaller car, (Fiesta 1.4 TDCI).

It has covered 101,000 miles with full service history. We have every Mot the car has had and almost £1000 worth of reciepts for parts and work done in the 2 years mum has owned the car.

It has all of the usual Ghia goodies including, electric windows, climate control, ABS, PAS, Heated screens and remote locking. We have a spare key. It has 16" alloy wheels with 4 good tyres. It also has reverse sensors fitted.

The Gas system had a full service (with invoice) in 2008. The total invoice for the service came to nearly £500 due to several key components needing to be replaced. On £20 of gas it does well over 200 miles with mum driving.

The engine has had a full head rebuild in December 08, this was due to head gasket failure. The head was fully stripped cleaned and rebuilt to as new condition. A new radiator was also fitted at the same time. I have a full digital photo file of the work done to the engine. This will be supplied on a cd to the winning bidder.

The car has fitted a half leather, half alcantara interior from a later Titanium X Mondeo, (mine). I fitted Recaro's in my car and mum liked the look of my old seats, so in they went. They are in very nice condition and are much nicer than the old cloth seats.

For its last mot, the car had its rear subframe bushes done, these are a common fault on the MK3 Mondeo, so its a job not to have to worry about on this car.

All in all this is a very nice Mondeo, it is not in concourse condition, it is 7 and a half years old and has done 100K. It has some minor marks here and there on the bumpers, however, these do not detract from the overall appearance of the car.

I have set a very reasonable reserve, i will not disclose it to anyone during the auction.

Finally this is a cash on collection aucton only. If you want to pay by cheque, thats fine as long as you don'y mind waiting a week for it to clear.
