The Car
July 2002 (02 plate) Audi A8 4.2 Quattro Long Wheel Base in silver metallic with black leather interior. This car has had three owners from new. We bought this car to use but we only keep them for a few weeks before they have to go. It offers divine luxury, massive performance and bargain motoring!!

There are three stamps in the service book and then a number of bills which document the history and mileage.
Condition
The car has a small trim piece missing on the near side rear quarter panel. Its currently in the glove box we just haven't re-fitted it! The wheels are kerbed. There is some evidence of poor localised paint repairs on three doors as the lacquer is flat. The car has one slightly buckled alloy as the is some steering wheel judder on braking and over 85mph, we thought it was brake pads but we have had it checked and this is the result. A set of alloys can be bought from eBay for about £400. It is only very slight and we have been using this car for the last month and apart from this small judder it drives fantastically. The car is nice inside and all electrical items work as they should.

The majority of our cars come direct from main agents. The previous owner bought a Mercedes S Class and we bought this car direct from the Mercedes dealer.
Warranty
We do not warrant cars over seven years old or over 80,000 miles. This is in no way a reflection of the quality of the car, purely that as all warranties are comensurate to age and mileage, you would find that little would be paid out without significant contribution from the new owner on any major claim. Please feel free to arrange an appointment to satisfy yourself of the integrity of the car, we are sure you will not be disappointed. The car is HPI clear and has no outstanding finance. An HPI report can be given to the winning bidder if requested.
About Us
The Internet Car Lot was created in July 2007 by the Litton family. David has been in the motor trade since 1960 rising to the ranks of director with the same firm until 1981 when with wife Janet set up a successful petrol filling station and used car operation in Yeovil, Somerset. Janet ran the business with David until 1991 when a large oil company bought the site. Son Jamie has been in the motor trade since 1998 working with a large independent dealer group for 5 years, latterly as a Saab sales manager. In 2003 Jamie joined a family operated BMW business and after two and a half years as used car sales manager felt the time right to encourage mother and father back to business!! We are located on the Somerset/Devon border and are very close to Axminster train station. The winning bidder can be collected from here.
Our eBay philosophy
Our business model dictates that our first selling channel is a seven day eBay auction. This will allow us a quicker turnover and we will sell the car here for a cheaper price. We will sell cars early providing we obtain the right price but will not offer the car through any other medium while the car is listed on eBay.

We have decided to stop offering part exchange on eBay cars as unfortunately people have rather inflated ideas of the worth of their cars and want to steal ours!
