Up for sale is my 2001 aprilia rs50. I have owned the bike for roughly 6/7 months after switching from a twist and go. This was one of the best decisions i've ever made, the ride is so much better then a moped, you can whack it round corners, you have more control of the bike as a whole and the response you get from other bikers is excellent.

The bike had an engine rebuild roughly 2 months ago and since then i've only covered 2000km. It has always been garaged and covered and well maintained. i have recently purchased new chain and sprockets, both tyres have good tread and the bike runs smooth as a nut.

I have treated it s a 40mph bike as these bike do have fragile engines being only 2 stroke. However i have taken it into the higher revs to see what is is capable of (as you do) and all i can say is WOW!!. I would never have expected a 50cc bike to be hitting speeds of 70mph. As i say tho this has only been done once or twice as its just wear and tear on the engine. It's very happy to cruise at 40mph throughout the day.

I have a kundo sports exhaust for the bike which is currently not fitted due to complaints from the neighbours (sounds like a pitbike, sweet as) but it can be easily fitted on within half an hour. Along with the bike you will receive many extras such as gaskets, sprokets, carbon fibre handle bar ends etc.

Has been a pleasure to own and will be sad to see it go.
