THIS WAS BOUGHT AND UPGRADED IN PREPARATION FOR A TRIP TO MOROCCO WHEN I RETIRE NEXT YEAR BUT FOR VARIOUS REASONS I WILL NOT BE DOING THIS NOW! SO THE DISCOVERY IS NOT IDEAL FOR WHAT I NOW NEED WHICH IS AN AUTOMATIC VEHICLE SUITABLE FOR TOWING OUR NEW CARAVAN

 A RANGE ROVER P38 DHSE OR 4.0LPG WINK WINK EBAY SAY CAN'T SWAP!? MAY P/EX AS I NEED AN  AUTO PLUS COMFORT AND WE DON'T NEED 7 SEATS ANYMORE . WILL WANT TO KEEP PRIVATE PLATE!

I WORK FOR A HERITAGE ORGANISATION SO THE DISCO HAS BEEN OFF ROAD BUT ONLY FARM TRACKS AND GREEN LANES (NOT ABUSED AT PAY AND PLAY SITES!) IN DERBYSHIRE AND NOTTINGHAMSHIRE.  THERE ARE SOME HAIRLINE SCRATCHING BUT WHEN POLISHED THEY ALMOST DISAPPEAR.

I ALSO HAVE A G4 STYLE ROOF RACK AND REAR STEPS(NOT FITTED YET) AVAILABLE SEPERATELY @ £400 IF NOT BOUGHT AS PART OF THE TOTAL PRICE, WHICH AGAIN I BOUGHT WITH CAMPING EXPEDITIONS IN MIND! THE WINCH AND BUMPER WERE ALL DONE ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO ALONG WITH THE HEADLIGHT UPGRADE FOR THE SAME REASON. THE WINCH HAS NEVER BEEN USED ITS A 1200LB 12V MODEL.

THE BELL AUTO RECHIP WAS DONE BY THEM 12 MONTHS AGO AND HAS VASTLY IMPROVED ACCELERATION AND SMOOTH PULLING POWER. THE UNDERSIDE WAS ALSO WAXOYLED ABOUT THE SAME TIME AND SHOULD BE GOOD FOR THIS WINTER.

RELUCTANT SALE BUT I HAVE TO BE REALISTIC ABOUT WHAT I CAN AND CAN'T DO....SO MORE SEDATE HOLIDAYS/RETIREMENT WITH THE CARAVAN ARE BEING MAPPED OUT BY SWMBO :-)
