I am pleased to present The 2001 Kelso Handicap Saddle Cloth of Irish Bred, Blu Air Force from New York Racing - Belmont Park. This beautiful, unique Mustard color race worn saddle cloth is approx: 40 x42 in., perfect race worn condition with with some racing track dirt retained. It is Trimmed with Black Piping and the lettering is raised and stitched. Really wonderful attention to detail throughout. Lettering and numbering are on both the left and right side of this beautiful saddle cloth. NYRA embroidered logo is seen one one side of this saddle cloth.  Do not miss this great Graded Saddle cloth honoring Kelso.   Blu Air Force was an international Graded stakes winner with earning of $390,573.  He was trained in America by Bobby Frankel. Blu Air Force wins Hollywood Park feature

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Irish-bred Blu Air Force, ridden by Alex Solis, passed favored Astonished late in the stretch and went on to a 1½-length victory in Wednesday's $75,600 Robert K. Kerlan Memorial Stakes at Hollywood Park.

Astonished held on for second, 2½ lengths ahead of Rocky Bar. Blu Air Force carried 119 pounds and was clocked in 1:01 1-5 in the 5½-furlong race on the turf for 3-year-olds and up. The winner paid $5, $2.60 and $2.10. Astonished, ridden by Laffit Pincay Jr. under high weight of 122 pounds, paid $2.60 and $2.10. Rocky Bar, ridden by Garrett Gomez and carrying 119 pounds, paid $2.10 to show. The win was the eighth in 21 career starts for Blu Air Force, who has earned $264,373 in the United States through June 2002.  Total earnings world wide is now over $500,000.
