VEHICLE CONDITION REPORT (based on an extended test drive, including a motorway run and a thorough exterior / interior inspection). Mechanical During the test drive the car displayed no signs of any major mechanical problems. The 2.0 16v engine is smooth and quiet in operation, and would appear to be in very good health. The gearbox changes through all five of its gears as it should and is still very positive. Their were no knocks or bangs from the suspension and the brakes pulled up strong and straight. There are no major dents or nasty scratches and the bumpers are all in good order and are free from any visible scuffing. I feel I should mention that due to the unforgiving dark blue paintwork, there are some lightish scratches visible here and there (the vast majority of these would machine polish out).
