I've had the Maverick 4x4 for about 12 months and it's been a great car but I have a company car coming and it has to go, "she who must be obeyed" says i can't keep it!

It's been ultra reliable and has never let me down, it's comfortable and dead easy to drive, the unusual column change auto box takes about 10 minutes to get used to and then its just push the pedal to go. The 3 litre V6 is lovely, quiet, smooth and powerful. The auto box changes smoothly in all gears, it's a 4 speed with an electronic overdrive to give 5 gears. At 70mph it's doing just 2200rpm.
During normal driving it's front wheel drive but when the car senses the front wheels spinnng it engages 4 wheel drive with no fuss and you get awesome grip. If the going is really slippy like deep mud or snow then you can engage full 4wd with a button on the dashboard.

The car has just about everything you could need as standard, 4 x electric windows, air con (nice and cold), cruise control, remote central locking, comfy leather seats and a CD autochanger. All tyres are good, 2 are virtually brand new and the other have plenty of tread left. It's MOT'd till 29/5/2009 and the tax runs out in 3 weeks. The renewal is £112 for 6 months. I have two keys but only one remote.

There's a full service history with the last service being done less than 2000 miles ago in May.

A tow bar is fitted complete with dual electrics, I can vouch for the main electrics but i've never tested the secondary circuit.

New front discs and pads were fitted earlier this year.

The interior is excellent, no rips or tears or even any undue wear, it's in great condition.

The bodywork is very good, there's a few small marks, it's a 7 year old car after all, but absolutely nothing serious to detract from what is a very nice motor.

There's only one thing wrong with the car and that is the coolant level warning light has come on a couple of times recently when there's been plenty of water in the tank - i'm told it's just a dicky level sensor - I'll try and get it sorted before the end of the auction. It's no big deal, the engine temp is spot on and there's absolutely no overheating. I only mention it because i believe in being honest.

Please come and view the car before bidding, but if this isn't possible then you can bid with confidence because this is a very clean example and i'm confident you won't be disappointed.
