2000 (X) FERRARI 360 MODENA F1 - STUNNING EXAMPLE

For sale my superb Ferrari 360 Modena F1 that I have has the pleasure of owning since June 2008. The sale is reluctant, an imminent house move with lack of parking the sole reason for me letting it go. Having been lucky enough to own some wonderful sports cars over the years (Aston Martins etc.) without any shadow of a doubt this has been by far the most fun and shown the most reliability over the circa 8000 miles it has covered since my purchase.

It took months for me to find the right car last June, many were cheaper and lower mileage and almost without fail the many 'others' I considered needed large sums of money spending on them either immediately or in the near future. However, the pre-purchase inspection on this September 2000 (X-plate) was rosy, a couple of new tyres I could cope with. A further chat with the previous owner to the seller who enthused about the car and explained that the relatively high mileage he had covered from 2006-2008 was almost exclusively purring up and down the M6 put my mind at rest. Incidentally chats on the specialist forums often discuss 360's with over 100k miles without issue.

Besides the desirable red/black paintwork/leather combination, this RHD car has a host of desirable extras. Red carpets, rear 'challenge' grille, Scuderia inset wing shields, red brake callipers, F1 paddle gearbox, xenon headlights and headlight washers to name but a few.

In addition to its last service (18k major) and cam belt change (which won't need doing for another 3 years) other works included new ball joints, brake discs and pads, steering ball joint, new cat temp ECUs on exhaust, new manifold gaskets and an air mass meter. Worthy of note all tyres are in good order.

Further I had the car was fully checked to ensure it was in optimum condition for sale to include compression checks on all 8 cylinders to 180psi+ some 3 weeks ago, its current mileage is just under 60k. JMH will obviously confirm any queries you may have.

Overall its condition is extremely good as I hope the photography shows (I have had the inside valeted and leather cleaned post-photography). I did also consider having the wheel nuts re-chromed for £5 each as they are slightly showing age and also there is some minor scuffing to some of the alloys, I think around £40 each to refurbish. Also an advisory for a ball joint seal that may require attention at the next annual service, in summary absolutely nothing major and thus ANY inspections welcome!
