I have a 2000 reg Golf GTI for sale.

It is damaged on the passenger side where it was involved in a hit and run. I have had a few quotes for the damage which has been between £500 & £700 pounds. I am unable to afford the repairs and use my car to meet clients so need a fast sale.  The insurance company has not been informed of the damage as I didn't want to lose my no claims discount.  The back wheel arch needs restructuring and the passenger side needs a re-spray.

The car is taxed and MOT'd and was last serviced in March 08 at 102000 miles.  I have the service history also.  The car still runs perfectly and the only drawback is the damage to the passenger side.

Golfs of the same year / model still retail above £3.5k and with a little attention could be a nice little run around. I will NOT sell the car for anything less than the starting price as I feel that half the price of the cars value is a fair starting price for the amount of damage.  There is no outstanding finance on this car.
