Due to an overwhelming desire to buy a Ducati my beloved Gixxer has got to go.
I bought this bike 3 years ago from a close friend who had owned it for 2 and a half years. During this time I have covered a rather pathetic 7000 miles.
Despite the low mileage the bike has been serviced every year regardless of whether it needed it or not.
During my ownership I have added a number of goodies which include a Yoshi carbon tri-oval can plus re-map to suit, giving a dyno proven 133 bhp. I have also added gilles adjustable rearsets which suit the bike well, an undertray with led rearlights and mini led indicators. I also have the standard exhaust can, pillion seat cowl and 'legal' number plate which will also come with the bike. I had the rear wheel re-sprayed in black to replicate the moto gp suzuki at that time and to also mask the chain lube fling which made cleaning a white rear wheel an absolute nightmare.
I have just (last week) had a full service and fresh mot, the bike is also taxed until august. Its had new Michelin Pilot Powers fitted only a few hundred miles back, they are literally just scrubbed in. Make no mistake folks, this bike is ready to rock and roll.
Security comes in the form of a laserline immobiliser.
I have a stack of paper work which includes all work I've had done since I've owned it, every mot certificate since its first one in 2003 and the dyno charts from the re-map.
All thats left to tell you is the few negative points about the machine. The bike fell off its side stand a few years back which resulted in a broken indicator, a slightly bent gear lever and minor scuffing to the left hand fairing panel. The indicators were replaced with the mini leds already mentioned, the bent gear lever irritated me so much that I fitted gilles rearsets, all that remains is the scuffing. There is no broken plastic, just a few scratches in the fairing sticker which can be seen in the pictures.
A few rear tyres back the tyre fitter managed to scratch my painted rear wheel, which is also shown in the pictures.
Other than that this is one very clean motorcycle which will make someone very happy.
I would prefer cash on collection from the winning bidder, I will accept a cheque but will not release the bike until the funds have cleared into my bank account.
A deposit of £100 is required through paypal within 24 hours of winning the auction.
I have understandably set a reasonable reserve price for a bike in this condition.
Any questions please don't hesitate to ask either through the E mail facility on e bay or feel free to call me on 07737763466.
Happy bidding and good luck.

Also the bike is advertised locally so the auction may end early if someone comes up with the cash.
