For sale a very nice 106, this is my sons first car, I insisted he had a diesel, as he was stationed at various bases around the country, and he needed a economical car, He really wanted a 106GTI Quicksilver. hence all the colour coded trim, and fancy Ripspeed accessories. As a parent I have made sure that this car is in tip top condition and the car has had new front discs and brake pads, new rear drums and shoes, new clutch and a recon gearbox, new radiator. ( only because I damaged the original).

I have Just put the Pug through a MOT, as there was only 6 weeks left, and I thought I would not buy a car with only 6 weeks MOT. so it comes with 12mnths MOT and 6 months TAX

I have used the car myself daily for the last few weeks and can say that it drives well, It starts fine everytime, is not a smoker, and no oil leaks.

My son has gone to work abroad for 6 months and thats the reason for the sale.

The bodywork is in fine condition  with only the scuffs, marks and stonechips one would expect form a car that has been on the road for nearly 8 years, there is one dent on the OF/R  1/4  please see photo, there is plenty tread on all tyres, and the car has a  CD Radio. The parcel shelf has cutouts for 9X5 speakers, blanked off with mesh.

When I bought the car from a friend in the trade I was assured the cam belt had been changed, indeed there is quite alot of receipts for maintainace with the log book and docs.

Allthough I have bought and sold quite a few items on Ebay, this is the first time I've auctioned a car, and having done a fair bit of reading on the discuusion board and looked at other car sales.

 I now have to state the obvious, I am selling a car that I entrusted my son to drive  the length and breadth of the country, it has a full MOT, I have drove it myself and would not sell it if I thought it had any defects, my feedback is not as important as your or your childs life, it has been well maintained, BID to  buy with confidence.

Due to the fraud & scams that seems to be becoming more common on ebay, I can only accept cash on collection. It is not cheap to sell on Ebay so the only way to recover fees for non paying /non showing bidders is to report it to ebay to claim the fees back ( and thats not going the mutual route) and to stictly follow the time deadlines on fee recovery.
