This was my wife's pride and joy until my son hit a hedge with it. The damage appears to be confined to the front nearside. I have had it checked by a friend in the trade and have been told that the following items will be needed to repair the car:
- nearside bottom arm
- nearside wing
- splash cover
- bonnet (probably repairable)
- slam panel
- nearside headlamp
- front bumper
- front bumper reinforcer
- headlight panel
All except the last item are bolt on which should make a repair easier. There is also a small dent in the sill which was a result of an earlier car park scrape but this is cosmetic. The car was MOTd at the time of the bump and we were not expecting problems with the next one. I had the exhaust welded for the last MOT (rust arount the catalytic converter) but I bought an almost new one to replace it but did not have time to fit it before the bump. This is included in the sale. The only other fault that I am aware of is that the car had a habit of locking its drivers door so care had to be taken to take keys out.
The car is being stored at a farm near where I live - I am happy to show it to anybody who is interested.
Pickup only, I have no means to deliver.
