BMW 540i with LPG

This is my 2000 year, X reg BMW 540i with LPG.

The car has a 286BHP V8 Engine which is silky smooth and superb to drive, especially when cruising on a motorway.   It's an ideal family car, it's got so much space inside in both the front and back seats and the boot is huge.

The car has LPG fitted which returns the equivalent of between 35 - 50mpg when compared with unleaded costs.   In July I went down to Silverstone for the Grand Prix and did 260 miles on the way down.  I topped up the LPG for the return journey and it cost £24.   The LPG system has an 80 litre tank in the spare wheel recess.  Generally it takes 60 litres per fill.  I've filled the car today and it cost £28.36.  I would expect typically 230-250 miles running around the doors but it all depends on how heavy your foot is.

I've had the car 2 years and covered just over 20k miles.  The car currently has 108k miles on the clock.  The car has a partial BMW service history and I've had it serviced while I've had the car. 
The car has long mot and tax.   
The car is HPI clear on all counts, no outstanding finance and no insurance claims, never stolen etc. etc.   I have the V5 document - it's in my name and registered at my address.

This car cost nearly £40k new with the LPG system fitted in 2003 at an additional cost of nearly £2800.   The car was registered before the government introduced the new road excise duty tarrifs.  As such it's only £190 a year for road tax.


As you'd expect from a car over 8 years old there are a few indications of the car's age and I've listed these and other points below :
Slight kerbing to one alloy wheel (picture)
Small paint scrape on rear bumper (picture)
Wear to driver's seat bolster (picture)
Remote fob needs a new battery
Advisory note on MOT to suggested new disks/pads may be needed for next year's MOT.
A couple of other minor marks but nothing significant.

Please, no more silly offers,or swaps.  The car is an affordable luxury motor with Ford Fiesta running costs.  I saw one of these sell on Ebay a few weeks back, a 2001 with LPG.  It sold for £5400 and it had higher mileage. 
I've reduced the car again.  It's now at £4500.  This is the absolute lowest i'll take for the car and believe me this car is worth every penny.  If it doesn't sell at this price then I will be keeping it.
