This bid is for a weeks rental self catering in our chalet in Villarabout in February 2010 , Our chalet is 900 metres from the centre of picturesque Saint Martin de Belleville (picture 2) in the massive three valleys ski area. It sleeps six very comfortably, many owners would rent it out for 10 or more clients.

The chalet has been completely refurbished in the last 18 months to a very high standard and it is still available for a few weeks  including the second week of February half term.

This is our second years rental and the chalet has just been refurbished with 3 bedrooms (two en suites with baths) seperate family bathroom, toilet, lounge  kitchen diner, small patio and large garage. There is a traditional log fire to help with the alpine ambience, underfloor and seperate heating and two massive water heaters.

The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and we have just installed a washing machine and dryer.

It offers excellent accomodation within easy reach of the lifts in St Martin which give access to the whole of the massive 3 valleys ski area.

If you haven't been there St.Martin is a lovely traditional savoyard village . It has a village feel (not like some of the concrete monstrosities found elsewhere) with two supermarkets, restuarants and bars. It is regularly in the top ten prettiest ski villages and one of the runs 'Jerusalem' is renowned as one of the best in europe (well the Sunday times thinks so!). Because the area is quite high snow is usually very good.

The main lift ( just over a km from the chalet) gives you access to about 600 km of pistes which should be enough for anyone!

Access is to Meribal, Courcheval,Les Menuires and Val Thorens via the main St.Martin lifts. Val Thorens is one of the highest resorts in the Alps and if there is no snow there the likelihood is there won't be any snow anywhere. You can ski to Val Thorens or it is a 20 minute drive with free car parking by the lifts just outside the town.

Ski hire is available locally and there is a ski school in St. Martin.

Please note that the chalet is a ten minute walk down to St Martin drag lift but about 15 minutes going back (slightly longer if you have had a good apres ski!). There is a ski bus to the lift in the morning and return in the evening. There is lots of free car parking if you prefer to drive down.
