20*4 LCD Display Board with UART Based USB Edition III

Brief Introduction:

This board can be used to display more system information of your computer, such as Everest status, MBM status (Your CPU temperature, fan/cooler speed, etc.), BBC world news (or any other RSS feeds), WinAmp status (currently playing tracks title, length, position, etc), network status (speed, total bytes, etc), CPU speed, free disk space, memory usage, E-mail details, game status and many others. In addition, users may adjust the contrast ratio of LCD display and backlight brightness.

Features:

1. Integrate a 20*4 (blue background white character) LCD as the main display
   
2. Can be used to display info from serial COM port with tailored application- LCD Smartie or Sure-LCD and its displaying pattern can be adjusted
3. With Sure-LCD, ambient temperature can be obtained and displayed in either °F or ℃.
4. Allows you to edit memorandum (also called tips) and display tips continuously.
5. Various UART ports-based Smartie can be made, such as TTL, CMOS, RS232 and USB
6. Command set provided
7. One USB A to mini USB AB cable and one USB mainboard extension cord are provided, both of which can be used for power connection and communication
8. 3 pieces LED indicator cables are provided to indicate power, data receiving and transfer.
9. Can readily be fixed into PC case
10. Provides 8 character libraries that can be redefined by users
