Each roll of 200mm depth insulation is1200mm wide and provides 6m2 of cover.
An average 3 bed semi has a loft of approx 50 sq meters.
This top quality quilt - delivered rolled - is Combi-cut (ready-perforated lengthways) - so it can be used in any of 4 widths. Easily divided along the perforations with a gloved hand - no other implement required. The Combi-cuts are designed to fit standard gaps between joists that are usually 400mm or 600mm.
Vermin and insect repellent.
Use: This is an easy way to achieve a 300mm depth (building regulation depth for new-build homes from April 2007). Ideal for topping up existing loft insulation that is in good condition or for new-build properties where there is presently no insulation.
NOTE 1.
A) Loft insulation is FREE to persons aged 70 + who have less than 60mm depth of insulation in their loft.
B) There are grants available for the insulation of uninsulated lofts
C) There are grants available for people with less than 100mm of insulation who are on benefits.

NOTE 2. If existing loft insulation is in a poor state then it is recommended that the old insulation be removed and totally replaced for maximum energy savings, to cut down on fuel bills and for general hygiene in your loft.
