About Us

Mad Dog Marketing is a family run business. We manufacture, wholesale and distribute various animal feeds (i.e. VAT free products) and pet foods, which are distributed throughout the UK and worldwide. 
The products availabel in this store are high quality feeds and they retail in shops for a lot more money. 
We manufacture pet food on behalf of some of the UK's leading wholesalers and retailers.
We also supply 'straight' ingredients for customers who wish to mix their own animal feeds. Please see our website for more information on these types of products.
The majority of the feeds that we sell through our website and on eBay are available to wholesalers or retailers (to purchase in bulk, by the tonne) at preferential prices. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need a larger amount as we will be happy to create a new listing for you.
We also supply in bulk to boarding kennels, breeders, rescue centres and residential customers & we can offer generous discounts on mixed pallets too, so why not split an order with family and friends?
If you are looking for a supplier, we have a full range of extruded animal feeds available for own label purposes, or we are happy to work with customers in order to create new formulations. Please note however, that there is a minimum order requirement of two tonnes for own label products (132 x 15kg bags) and a minumum order of 10 tonnes for any new lines (660 x 15kg bags) , or for any our current feeds to be manufactured to any special requirements (i.e different bag size, or different shape biscuit for example) we would require a minimum order of ten tonnes.

We accept payment by: Pay Pal (including Pay Pal echeques), Postal Orders, Cheques and Bank Transfers (including BACS and CHAPS). 
Please make payment within seven days.
We DO NOT ship items until full payment has been received and has cleared. Please note that this can take up to 10 working days if you pay by an eCheque.
If no payment has been made within seven days, an unpaid item reminder will be filed, and if no response is made by the buyer then an unpaid item strike will be given.

The majority of our feeds are manufactured for working animals, and are therefore zero rated for VAT purposes. If VAT is applicable on any of our products, then it is already included in the prices stated. Shipping also includes VAT at 17.5%. Should you require a VAT invoice, please get in touch.

Shipping

All of our Animal Feeds are sent by DHL Couriers on an insured and trackable home delivery service.
We are happy to combine shipping on our dog food and animal feeds wherever possible. If you are interested in combining postage, please contact us to ensure that this is possible as we cannot combine certain items for same parcel delivery. This may be due to size restrictions, particularly when purchasing more bulky items.
If you purchase more than one item, simply request a total from us and we will combine shipping.
In the majority of cases, the maximum weight is 30kg per parcel. i.e. 2 x 15kg of dog food would be sent as one item weighing 30kg.
Cost: £6.75 per parcel to UK Mainland only
Please note that under no circumstances can we discount the postage charge of £6.75, even if you have bought a number of items which results in multiple parcels being sent to you. The minimum charge for courier delivery is £6.75 per parcel. 
e.g. 1 x 15kg dog food = 1 parcels at £6.75 per parcel = £6.75 shipping charge.
2 x 15kg dog food = 1 parcels at £6.75 per parcel = £6.75 shipping charge.
3 x 15kg dog food = 2 parcels at £6.75 per parcel = £13.50 shipping charge.
6 x 15kg dog food = 3 parcels at £6.75 per parcel = £20.25 shipping charge.
We do not make any money from postage whatsoever. In fact, £6.75 does not fully cover our costs as we have to pay fuel surcharges and buy mailing sacks- so discount on shipping is completely out of the question.
For any deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands or similar, the charge is £12.00 per 30kg parcel. If you fail to pay the correct postage, your order will not be sent and your payment will be refunded in full.
Please bear our costs in mind when placing your order, and also when rating us on the DSR for postage and packing charges (Feedback Stars). Marking us down can actually result in our account being closed, so if you're not happy with the costs, the answer is simple; please do not purchase from us.
Further information about shipping:
Parcels are sent via DHL couriers on a 48 hour delivery service. This service is NOT guaranteed and Mad Dog Marketing cannot be held responsible for delays caused by DHL.
If you would like your parcel to be left in a safe place, e.g. with a neighbour, or in a shed, then please leave a note on the Pay Pal receipt or send a message by eBay messages immediately after purchasing. We will make a note of your request on DHL's booking form but cannot guarantee that your request will be fulfilled. DHL will not leave your parcel anywhere without prior consent on our booking manifest (i.e. notes left on doors will be ignored).
***Please be aware that if your parcel is left without a signature, you are forfieting your right to make a claim if anything is damaged or missing***
When should my order arrive?
Please allow 3-4 working days.
If you place your order and pay for it before 9.30 am Monday - Friday, it will be sent that same day. If your order/and or payment is received after 9.30 am; it will be sent the following working day. Please understand that this cut off time is necessary as it allows us to process orders, pick and pack, and book the couriers.
example:
Customer orders and pays for their purchase at 8.30am on Monday....
We will dispatch the parcel that day so delivery would be Tuesday/Wednesday.
Customer orders and pays for their purchase at 11.00am on Friday...
We will dispatch the parcel on the following Monday so delivery should be Tuesday/Wednesday.
We do not work on Bank Holidays so orders placed over a bank holiday will not be dispatched until the next working day. 
For deliveries to Northern Ireland or Scottish Highlands, please add an extra couple of days to the delivery time (i.e. 3-4 working days in total). Please also understand that there may be delays for deliveries over busy periods such as Christmas or Bank Holidays.

We will accept returns within seven days of receipt as is required by law. 
Returns will only be accepted if the goods are received by us in a re-saleable condition. 
If the goods are simply 'no longer required', then the buyer shall be responsible for any costs incurred for returning the item and the refund shall not include the original postage paid. 
In circumstances where an incorrect or inferior item has been sent, we will be happy to re-imburse postage costs for returning the item, and we will include the original postage charge paid if a refund is required, or we will replace with the correct item.
