WOW! Offered for Sale is this GREAT Pair of Vintage Miller Lite Table / Bar Lamps! These are quality lamps constructed of glass and metal - no plastic here!
The lamps without the globe tops are about 13" tall, and about 5 7/8" across at the widest part of the base. The "mug" is made of glass, and the rest is brass-finished metal.
The globes are NOT original to the lamps. I picked the globes up at Home Depot - the design on the frosted glass reminded me of a ball of foam - the perfect topper to a tall mug of Lite!
The lamps work, and the two-prong brown colored electrical cords are in good condition. The cords are about 5 1/2' long. Please look at the photos. There is corrosion on the base of each lamp and on the top. There is loss to the brass finish. One lamp is worse than the other; there is a 2" loss of finish on the base, and the top has finish-loss spots across it's surface. The blue lettering may have faded a bit, but it's intact. There are no cracks to the glass mug. The globes are retained onto the lamp by a single screw; one lamp seems to better fit the globes than the other, but the globes are secure once the screw is tightened.
At the base, a nut screws onto the lamprod that is holding the parts together. It would be possible to disassemble the lamp, sand and paint over the brass metal with a paint like "Rustoleum", changing the color to match some decor. Or leave the lamps as they are - on a bar, after a few tall cold ones, no one's going to notice anyway!
I don't know how old these are, but I'm guessing 70's or 80's. These are rare, and are the perfect complement to that downstairs bar in the family room. If you drink Miller Lite then it doesn't get any better than this!
Because of the fragile nature of the globes, they will be sent in a separate box than the lamps. There is a $10.00 packing fee for materials to safely ship. If you have any questions please ask. If you've any negative feedback for non-payment please don't bid. Please read my terms before you bid. Thank you for looking!
