Auction Details
This auction is for two sealed packs of Polaroid i-Zone Instant Pocket Sticker Film (24 shots worth in total). The packs are expired and expiry dated 10/2006. This hard-to-find film has long since disappeared from retail outlets. These are the final 11 lots of films I have left over from project work that will not be replenished once they are gone, therefore this may very well be one of your last chances to find i-Zone film! Once they're gone that's it!
POSTAL STRIKE UPDATE: The vast majority of Royal Mail workers are currently undertaking a series of local and national strikes. This is obviously causing massive disruption to the UK mail system. Delays (in days) should be expected. Because of this, and for your added peace of mind, I am insisting on delivery by 1st Class Recorded or Special Delivery for UK buyers, and International Signed-for or Airsure for international buyers. Please be ware that THESE ARE NOT TRACKED SERVICES except for Special Delivery. If you are not happy to buy within the midst of these strikes - when delays are practically guaranteed and there's a higher chance of complications - then simply do not bid/buy!
PLEASE NOTE: These films are expired. Understandably I offer no guarantees on their functionality, the quality of results, OR THAT THEY WILL WORK AT ALL. These films are sold 'AS IS' without returns or refunds and are purchased entirely at your own risk. Expired Film? (What is 'expired film'?) Unfortunately Polaroid ceased i-Zone instant film production in 2005. The very last batches created were stamped with an expiry date of 06/2007 meaning it is impossible to find 'new' i-Zone film yet to expire because it simply does not exist! Using expired film is now your only option if you wish to continue using your i-Zone camera.
Examples 1: Taken 01/08/09. These films are not going to give you great results. There's a possibility they may not give you any results whatsoever. Any photos produced are going to be imperfect and flawed. It's a case of beggers can't be choosers sadly. i-Zone is a dead format and these are the precious, decaying scraps of film left to work with. If you expect or require good quality results I strongly suggest you use a different medium (such as 35mm or digital) or, as an alternative small-size instant format, Fuji's Instax Mini (requires an Instax Mini camera). I have had hundreds of happy buyers (please feel free to check my feedback) but individual expectations and opinions on quality and usefulness are very much open to personal interpretation. You should only consider buying if you can accept whatever may develop, as well as the possibility that the films may not work at all.
Examples 2: Taken 01/08/09. From the same film used for Examples 1. Expect:

Thanks for your interest! \(^_^)/ F.A.Q.
A. Please read the disclaimer below for more details. Q. How many films/photos-worth do I get? I'm confused! A. Each pack of film = 12 photos worth. Each lot = 2 packs of film. So each lot = 24 photos worth in total! Multiple lots example: You buy 3 lots, so that's 6 packs of film in total (3 x 2 packs of film) that gives you 72 photos worth in total (6 packs of film x 12 shots). Q. If I buy multiple lots can you do me a deal or reduce postage? A. I believe this is already the best deal on all of eBay for i-Zone film. Furthermore, at just £0.99 extra postage fee per additional lot regardless of where you live (outside of the UK) I'm offering highly competitive overall pricing (including postage costs) to anywhere in the world. Q. I'm interested in buying more lots of film than are currently available in this auction, do you have more for sale? A. Sorry no, this is it. Q. I really need these films for a specific day or as soon as possible, can you send them in time? A. I only post items on Saturdays. Actual delivery performance is at the mercy of Royal Mail and it's partner postal services worldwide. I cannot absolutely guarantee delivery unless items are sent by Special Delivery Next Day (UK only). Q. Will you accept payment by cheque/postal order/banker's draft/cash/NoChex/bank transfer? A. No, I only accept payment by PayPal sorry. Q. Do you have any cameras for sale for use with these films? A. Unfortunately I do not, although new and used i-Zone cameras without film are readily available elsewhere on eBay usually for very little cost. Disclaimer
Expired FilmEach Polaroid film has an expiry date printed onto its box or film packet which essentially serves as the best-used-before date and approximated end of a time span from manufacture wherein Polaroid expects results will be of the optimum quality intended. Beyond this the quality of Polaroid film declines slowly over time, the most noticeable effect of which is diminishing vibrancy and saturation of colours. The films available in this auction listing are expired – their expiry dates have transpired. There is obviously no way of knowing for sure how well they will work until the films are in use. Films that expired over 18 months ago are still usable but the increased passage of time will correlate more directly to an evident drop in quality. There is also always the possibility that film used beyond stated expiry date will not produce any image at all (and therefore not work), a likelihood that is amplified along with the age of the film. PLEASE NOTE: Ignorance to this issue is no excuse. By bidding and agreeing to buy you unconditionally accept the abovementioned possibilities and moreover the likelihood of decreased photo quality and that the films may not work, none of which I can be held liable for in any way. Expired film is sold 'AS IS' without returns or refunds and is purchased at your own risk. Seller PoliciesPostage Options The two tables below give a summary of information regarding the postal services I offer so that you can make an informed decision from the variety of options available. It is the responsibility of buyers to select the postal service that best matches their requirements and delivery expectations. To help minimise the chances of any possible complications I would strongly advise towards selecting postage by 1st Class Recorded or Special Delivery Next Day for UK buyers, and International Signed-for or Airsure for E.U./World buyers. For UK buyers, the upgrade to 1st Class Recorded is just an additional 75p (this is how much it actually costs, by the way) regardless of how many lots you buy - a relatively small but considerably worthwhile investment!
Dispatch Due to work commitments I am only able to send items on Saturday. The cut-off time for each Saturday is 8:00am British time of that Saturday morning. Any orders that occur after this time, or that I have yet to recieve a cleared payment for, will be sent the following Saturday. I email buyers through eBay's Message system to notify you once your item has been sent. Proof of postage receipts are obtained for all posted items. Delivery Times The delivery time estimates shown above should be treated as guidelines only. They are not guarantees, except in the case of items sent by Special Delivery. Only working days are counted. In the UK no mail is processed or delivered on a Sunday. While I endeavour to ensure all items I send stand a good chance of arriving within their expected timeframe, through clear and correct addressing, I am obviously not responsible for the delivery performance of Royal Mail or your local international postal services to which the mail is then entrusted. Postage Prices Postage fees are approximations and may not match exactly the actual costs. If you are not happy to pay the quoted prices irrespective then please do not bid. For Europe/World buyers each additional lot is just £0.99 (regardless of your location) on top of your selected postal service for the 1st lot. To ensure correct combined postage discount please contact me or wait for an amended invoice after winning before paying. Online Tracking These services are not courier or guarenteed delivery services (with the exception of Special Delivery Next Day). The tracking involved is quite basic and rarely specific. Suffice to say the parcels are not fitted with GPS tracking devices that update information on their location in real time!
Once provided with the reference code for your parcel you can check it at Royal Mail Track & Trace. Services that require Signature Please be aware that postal services that require a signature upon delivery do not ensure that they are only received by the designated addressed individual. Typically it is just that a signature is taken at the stated address before the parcel is delivered. It is not necessarily the intended recepient. Details on who signed for the item (and when) are not presently included in tracking. If no-one is present at time of attempted delivery, and therefore the parcel cannot be signed for, the parcel may be returned to your local postal depot or post office awaiting collection or redelivery. You should be notified of this. If the item is not collected within 7 days it may be returned to sender. Compensation Cover Compensation Cover should not be considered the same as postal insurance. It is Royal Mail's compensation for loss or damage and is subject to their terms and stipulations. For example: They do not consider an item lost until it has been overdue for well over a month. Bare in mind that claims for compensation may take a number of weeks to process (potentially much longer if buyer is not in the UK). Royal Mail no longer associate a monetary value to their standard level of compensation cover. Instead they cover these items up to the value of 100 1st Class Stamps (equivalent price of £39) because this is the format by which they provide compensation in most cases (you would receive stamps to the value of the item rather than a cheque). Parcels are only covered up to the value of Compensation Cover offered by the postal service that they are sent by. It is strongly advised that you select a postal service that fully covers up to the value of your parcel (which is based on total item value and does not include postage costs). Packaging Items are typically sent in Jiffy Airkraft padded envelopes. At my discretion larger orders may be sent in a cardboard box. Addressing Unless I am informed otherwise items are addressed according to the details provided along with your PayPal payment. Please ensure this address is correct before concluding payment. Customs & Taxes
Buyers are responsible for all customs and taxes. Items are declared as 'Other' with actual value of items (not including postage costs) stated. Payment I accept payment by PayPal only. Please ensure you have the necessary funds ready to pay and a PayPal account able to do so before bidding. Payment must be made within 48 hours of bidding/buying. If you are unable or unlikely to pay within this time please do not bid. Returns & RefundsIf there are any problems please contact me as soon as possible through eBay. Refunds for this item will only be available in the unlikely event of loss in post if you have selected postage by 1st Class Recorded, Special Delivery Next Day, International Signed-for, or Airsure - in which case the refund would be subject to the outcome (both in timescale and monetary amount) of any compensation claim against Royal Mail. Refunds do not include P&P fees. Please be aware that Royal Mail now refund people with 1st Class stamps rather than money. No returns for this item sorry. Buyer Agreement
