I purchased a HUGE collection of vintage animal figurines, and will be listing them over the next several weeks! Many of these are High Quality Diorama figures that were made back in the 1950’s!
Item: This one is a unique pair, it is a matching Lion and Lioness, but their bodies are black with gold highlights, and their tails are silver. When I first found one of them, I thought someone was having fun and re-painted it, but then I found the other one and looked closer and I believe that these are the original colors. You are bidding on both pieces! Both pieces have what appears to be “Germany” impressed on the belly in a manner similar to that used by Lineol.

Age: Uncertain, it is not dated, but possibly from the 1950’s
Size: the lioness is 1 ¾” tall and the lion is 2 ½” tall, both are 4” long.
Condition: There are the usual small cracks in the legs, and the light colored lines you see in the pics might be from past repairs, it’s hard to tell for sure. No chips missing, but there is a little light wear in the silver paint on the tails.

Multiple purchases will save on shipping charges whenever possible. The Shipping charge includes Shipping, Handling, and Insurance within the United States. Items selling for $20 and under are self-insured by me, item over $20 are insured by the Post Office.
Items to be shipped outside the U.S. are required by law to be listed as “Merchandise” on the Customs Form, and may incur additional shipping charges, please see the shipping calculator below for that cost.
Non-US bidders Must use PayPal for their purchases. Sorry, but I can not accept checks or money orders from outside the U.S.
I package items securely, but the Post Office does not offer insurance on all items when shipping outside the U.S. and I can not be liable for items shipped without insurance.
All items are shipped via the U.S. Post Office.
I ship items out once a week, usually on Friday. Payments must arrive by Thursday to be included on the Friday shipments, payments arriving on Friday will ship the following week.
