Here are two unusual ENGLISH INK WELLS that were both dug from a tip in OXFORD, ENGLAND. They were designed to fit in the School desk so that you could dip your Pen to get the ink needed to write. They were both found together but only one has OXFORD SCHOLASTIC SUPPLY DEPOT on it while the other has nothing. The OXFORD one is in suprisingly good condition while the other has a lot of age cracking which gives it character. The OXFORD ink is 1-1/4" tall 1-3/4" across the top and the HOLE SIZE is 1-1/2". The other is 1-1/2" tall x 1-3/4" x 1-1/4"(HOLE SIZE). These are great looking inks and can even be used for re-enactment.
