Why should I buy this topper as there are so many to choose from ?
Our toppers are Vasco 60 memory foam Made in the Uk by Vita foam Ltd the UK's Largest foam producer They are fully complient to the current Furnature Fire Safety Regulations We prefer not to fit covers as customers have found out that its far better to place your topper directly on top of your mattress and fit a standard mattress protector over both the topper and the mattress . This way, the topper does not move around, nearly as much as it will if it is fitted with its own cover !

THIS SOUNDS A BIT DRAMATIC, HOWEVER NOT ALL MEMORY FOAM IS FIRE SAFE TO BRITISH STANDARD. As you are looking to purchaise memory foam you need to do your homework, Don't just be looking at the price!
Here is a check list of what to look out for when buying a topper or as memory foam mattress.
When is 3" not 3"
We Brits think of depth in inches. So when we're told 3" is 70mm we believe it. 3" is in fact 76mm. This is a common tactic The customer assumes 3" but is actualy get 23/4inch Watch out for this!
Bristish or imported
Be very mindfull that imported foam especialy memory foam can be cheaper than British made.
Imported foam may not be fully flame retardent to the current UK furnature fire safety regulations. And may have exessive amounts of trace eliments such as Antimony and Arsnic (ask your supplier "is this imported")
Mattress topper covers
Current uk regulations state that a mattress cover must have a fire safety lable sewn in to it to conform to the current UK Furnature and Furnishing Fire Safety Regulation. If when you take delivery of a mattress or topper that has a cover with no such lable you should return it as is will not be complient . Anything you have been told as to the quality,viscosity or its origin may be untrue. (Ask to the supplier does the cover come with a sewn in fire safety lable )

Replacing your existing mattress with a foam mattress will eliminate this problem. Dust mites can't live in foam as it is naturally antimicrobial !
If you choose to sleep on a topper, the amount of dust mites and dead skin that you ingest is greatly reduced.
High viscosity
The higher the viscosity the better. The retailer, if they know their stuff should be able to tell you what the viscosity of memory foam there selling is. Its is not ever acceptable to just say its High viscosity as that is just a subjective opinion. For example 60 viscosity foam means that a block of foam 1cu metre will weigh 60kg. Some Memory foam is only 28 viscosity. You can see straight away that’s not going to be as good. In fact its ½ as dense that why it will be ½ the price. But is less that half the quality and will have a very short lifespan.
Hardness (viscosity)
Has no bearing on quality whatsoever, so don’t be lead to believe that it does. The firmer the foam, the higher viscosity. We give the viscosity a number. In our own Memory Foam the viscosity is 85 Newton's. You can easily be confused, mistaking the viscosity for the viscosity. In so doing you may assume that the foam is better quality than it other wise is. Be careful !!
How it works
Memory foam has a unique property in that it is temperature sensitive. Memory foam softens the warmer it gets. You may feel on delivery that the memory foam Mattress or topper feels firmer than you require. Don't panic!
Memory Foam 1/2‘s its firmness between room temperature and body temperature. The cells in the foam take a few weeks to become fully elastic.
Memory Foam moulds perfectly to your shape. Thus providing far more support than a normal mattress.
Quality:
This particular memory foam is used by many of the countries leading bed manufactures. Including Air sprung for example.Whilst we appreciate that the clear market leader for Memory foam is Temper Medic. We feel confident in saying that our Memory foam is comparable in quality to temper just as resilient to wear but at a fraction of the cost
