2.8mm, 4mm, 6mm, 16mm, 25mm CCTV CS mount lenses

This auction is for a set of 5 brand new fixed CS mount CCTV camera lenses. All have the standard CS mount (can fit all CCTV cameras with CS mount thread), image format for both 1/3" and 1/4" CCD, with relative aperture F 1.6 (2.8mm with F 1.4) :

• 1 x 2.8mm (wide angle), 1 x 4mm, 1 x 6mm, 1 x 16mm, 1 x 25mm CS Mount lens.

Order will be shipped from Hong Kong DDP (delivery duty paid) by first class air mail, delivery time is about 5-9 working days.  Seller accept Paypal, bank transfer, postal money order or personal cheques.

Questions and answers:

Q. What is the different between C and CS mount:

A. Cameras generally have either a C or CS lens mount, although there are a number of other types. It is not possible to use CS mount lenses on cameras equipped with a C lens mount because it is not possible to fit the lens close enough to the image sensor in order to focus the image as the distance between the rear flange of the lens and the image sensor must be 12.5mm for CS mount operation and the C mount is positioned 17.526mm distant from the image sensor.

However it is possible to use a C mount lens on a CS mount camera by using a 5mm adaptor ring between the lens and the camera.

Q. What is the different between fixed iris and manual/auto iris lens

A. The iris is the part of the lens that determines how much light falls upon the camera CCD sensor. As the name implies, the fixed iris lens has its iris fixed so you can't adjust at all. While both the Manual Iris 'MI' lens or Auto Iris "AI" can be adjusted. The Auto Iris lens has an electronic motor inside which can automatically adjust the iris to a pre-set level regardless the light levels change in the operation environment. We have both the "MI" and "AI" lens for auction on eBay.
