Msquared Computers have been in the business since Alan Sugar released the Amstrad 1512 computer that put the IT industry where it is today. Need we say there have been some difficulties with a very complex industry, competitive prices and the internet has made it even more complicated for the small businesses like us to survive? Nevertheless, even with all of the hurdles we continue to bring the high level of technical advice, service and products that our customer base as come to expect. We also provide a complete range of CD and DVD Media, Peripherals, Printers, Networking Solutions, Computer Systems and more. We also undertake CAT5 and network installations and configuration, along with our PC Doctor call out service in the local area, to all local customers we offer a free delivery service.
Payments
Permitted Payments as per eBay Terms & Conditions
- PayPal (all sellers must offer PayPal in their listings)
- Credit cards (including MasterCard, Visa, Amex), debit cards, and bank electronic payments
- Bank-to-bank transfers, often known as bank wire transfers or bank cash transfers
- Cash for in-person transactions
If payment is made via Cheque or electronic transfer the item will not be despatched until we have cleared funds, if you pay via Pay Pal and select the eCheque option this method usually takes up to ten working days to clear.
If you wish to pay via credit or debit card all you need to do is call us on 0117 9425 888 and we will process your transaction over the telephone and confirm at that time the payment has cleared.
We do not apply, add or charge any extra for any payment method, the price you are given at the time of completing the auction is the final price and includes 17.5% vat.
All completed auctions are despatched with a VAT invoice.
Payment must be received within 7 days of auction bid, our storage premises are limited and we cannot hold onto items indefinitely.
Items that are not paid within 7 days are automatically sent an auction payment reminder. After 14 days of auction end, a non paying item reminder will be filed and we will proceed to reclaim back auction fees, this will also unfortunately result in you (the buyer) receiving an unpaid item strike from eBay and relevant explanatory feedback left to warn other sellers of non-paying buyer.
Shipping
- All items are shipped within 48hrs upon confirmation of payment, all items are shipped via Courier or Royal Mail depending on the value of the item and the method chosen by you at the time of completing the purchase. We always validate your details via the electoral role and confirm we are shipping to a valid address, on some occasions if we decide there is a risk or it could be a fraudulent transaction we will not despatch the item until additional proof of residence is received or identity.
- If we are not happy and feel the risk is not acceptable we will refund your payment and cancel the transaction, this is final and no exceptions are made.
You will receive an email providing tracking information allowing you to track your item if the selected method is Courier or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.
We always request notification ASAP if the item does not arrive the day after despatch, this allows us time to chase and track the item promptly.
- Any Items sent via the courier will require a signature, the item is usually delivered on the next working day, if you are not available the item will not be left and you will receive a card, a second attempt will be made to deliver the item. If on this occasion no one receives the item it will be held for a period of five days at the local depot where you will be required to collect the item from. If for any reason you fail to collect the item and it gets returned to us this will incur a charge of £16.05p plus vat. This is what we are charged for a none delivered and returned item, if this happens you will be required to pay this sum and an additional delivery charge for the item to be sent out again.
If no payment is received we will resell the item to cover our costs.
Additional Information
Courier Deliveries - THIS IS IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Items shipped by our courier will require a signature, it is your responsibility to ensure you are available to sign for the item, if you miss the first attempt a second delivery will be made the following day. If you still miss this attempt a card is left where you will be expected to collect the item from the nearest depot.
If after 5 working days the item remains undelivered it will be returned to us.
When an item is returned we are charged £16.56 for a none delivered item and the return journey, we have also paid for the original delivery, therefore at this time we need you to contact us urgently to discuss resolving this problem.
The item is now back in store and will be held for a period of 30 days, if you have not contacted us by the end of this time the item will be sold to recover the costs incurred as a result of the none delivery.
We always send two emails on the day of despatch advising you of the despatch and giving you all of the relevant information about the delivery schedule and consignment number in the event of any difficulties, the email also includes your consignment number so that you can track the item yourself.
Please contact us in advance of ordering if this is a problem or an alternative delivery method is required.

Pay Pal is our preferred method, however we can accept payment via Credit or Debit Card, we have our own merchant services account with a large reputable UK bank. You can telephone the store directly on 0117 9425 888 and quote your item number or email your details and we will call you back to process the transaction via the telephone.

We are a UK based seller which means that all of our warranties and guarantees are from the UK. If you have any problems you will be able to speak to an English speaking person. This also means that all of our items have to pass UK and European safety standards.
Delivery Times
We pride ourselves on our outstanding delivery record. Most of our items are dispatched within 24 hours of us receiving payment. We post items up to 4.00pm from Monday to Friday, so items ordered before 3.30pm can usually be dispatched the same day. If you require an item urgently, please contact us to arrange upgraded delivery. We deliver to UK Mainland and Northern Ireland.
Whilst we do deliver outside of the UK you would need to contact us to get a confirmed quotation before completing the auction.
Our usual delivery times are 1-5 working days but this depends on the courier. We always try to send items within 24 hours so most customers receive their items within 1-5 days of purchasing an item but on rare occasions this can take up to 14 days. If you do no receive your items within 14 days, please contact us so we can resolve the issue. Christmas, New Year and Easter can cause delays to delivery times.
Customers must provide a full UK Address and Postcode. We use the address which is given to us by eBay so please make sure that your eBay record is up to date and the delivery address is correct. If an item is undeliverable because we were provided with an incorrect address we are not responsible. Please remember that if you purchase an item on Friday, Saturday or Sunday you will have to wait until Monday before we can send your item.
Returns Procedure - RMA
Msquared Computers is a reputable computer retailer who is dedicated to providing high levels of customer service before and after every sale. In order to return an item you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the item to arrange an RMA (Returned Material Authorisation). The returned item must be in its original packaging with all original documents. Replacements will be given for items as long as they have been used in accordance with usage guidelines.
- You must contact us to let us know of the fault; please do not send us an item without contacting us first
- If we cannot resolve the issue, we will provide you with an RMA number and will send you an RMA form
- This RMA form must be completed and sent to us with the faulty item so that we can process your return with the minimum of delay
- We will test the item and if it is faulty we will send a replacement within 14 days.
Conditions
- If you contact us after 7 days we will assume that the item was working and subsequently developed a fault. Items which develop a fault after 7 days are subject to return conditions under the manufacturers warranty.
- If a customer returns an item to us claiming that it is faulty but it is found to be working correctly, we will not provide a replacement or refund. Due to the time taken to process returns we will charge a restocking fee of 25% and the postage charge to resend the item will be requested again.
- If an item is returned to us without contacting us first to arrange an RMA or if the RMA form is incorrectly completed, there may be a delay of 5 working days in processing the return.
- Msquared Computers is not responsible for return postage. Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage.
- Replacements will be of a similar or better specification than the original item and replacements may vary depending on stock availability.
- We will not accept items which have been misused or used for a purpose other than what the item was designed for.
We do not provide refunds for customers who are abusive or threatening to any member of staff at Msquared Computers.
Manufacturer's warranties are supplied with most merchandise purchased from Msquared Computers. After the return period has expired, please contact the manufacturer to resolve any problems with your equipment.
Returned items should be well packaged to avoid damage in the post and we recommend the use of a traceable service so that you can confirm when we receive the item. Msquared Computers is not responsible for returned items which do not get to us or arrive to us in poor condition. Msquared Computers is also not responsible for items lost in the post by Royal Mail and therefore would not refund the postage costs if a refund is requested for an item not received.

- Our products and auction items all come with a 12-month return to base warranty unless specified otherwise, most items these days are covered by manufactures warranty, this means you deal directly with them and there is no need to contact or speak to us. If however, you have any problems please let us know and we will assist you or deal with the return on your behalf.
- If we find your product to be faulty, we will replace the product if stock allows or refund you the auction amount (minus postage charges), if your product is not available we will contact you with an alternitive product selection.
- Postage charges cannot be refunded, as this is an expense we cannot claim back. Software that has been activated cannot be refunded, please make sure the software is running correctly before activating. We check with Manufacturers activation departments before replacement or refund is issued.
- All returned items are checked, tested and will not be processed or returned until testing as been done.
- Please make sure any items returned are complete, incomplete items will be returned, all items found to be not faulty will be returned upon receipt of payment for the return postage / courier fees.
