Synopsis
An elderly butler is on a five-day motoring trip through the West Country in the 1950s. The climax of his journey is to be a reunion with his former housekeeper. This 1989 Booker Prize-winner attempts to capture a period in British history and draw a portrait of a man in old age.

You are bidding on an Ultra Rare True 1st Edition/1st Impression copy of Kazuo Ishiguro's The Remains of the Day, published by Faber and Faber, 1989.

This is an ex-library copy and is in Good condition, both the Dust Jacket and the Book itself.  There is a forward lean to the book and a few library stamps.  The Dust Jacket is not price clipped and states £10.99.

I've seen a copy listed for £600.00 on abebooks.co.uk

Most copies are now in the hands of collectors and are extremely rare to come by, so make a bid for a real investment where you can't go wrong!!!
