This is a nice size Grimwades Bruce Bairnfather 1st world war jug, with a scene of two soliders in the trenches at the front, with the verse "Well, if you knows of a better 'ole, go to it!". At the rear of the jug is a coloured coat of arms. There is some glaze loss the jug, leaving white patches. The jug measures 7 1/2 inches high. There is a chip to the inside rim, and the jug is marked for Grimwades underneath.
