19th C English School Watercolour Cedar Tree W J Hislop

Your opportunity to own this fine Victorian watercolour painting of a country park with a cedar tree. By the artist W J Hislop and dated 1872, it has been expertly painted and the colours are still vibrant.

In an old frame with a London gallery label to reverse, this is ready to hang. Measures 31 by 22.5 inches, the image is 21 by 14.5 inches.

I do have some other paintings by this artist, the subjects located in Scotland. Therefore I believe him to be a Scottish artist. A picture of this size will be packed sandwiched between two polystyrene boards to fully protect it.
