This fantastic early vase was made in China, during the 19th Century. It is of traditional shaped form, and is decorated with a design featuring Oriental figures and landscape, and intricate patterned banding, picked out in vibrant colours, to a white ground. The vase is hand painted and is finished in high quality gloss glaze.

Marks & Backstamps

The vase is marked to the base with a manufacturer’s backstamp, please refer to additional photographs below.

Condition & Size

The vase has been detached in several places to the upper rim, and readherd, leaving some small chips, which is common in pieces of this vintage, and does not greatly detract. Otherwise, it is in very good condition. It measures approximately 7½" in height.
