19th Century Sampson Birdwood And Sons Tea Plate

 

This is a tea plate that was made between 1853 and 1884 by Sampson Birdwood & Sons from Longton. The mark indicates that it was made between the 2 dates above. The design is by H.J.Kane. The lates were made during the succesful partnership of Martha Napier and Mary Walker. The plate is as photographed and has no chips or cracks
