19th Century Coalport

Tennis Cup and Saucer

 

A 19th Century hand painted Coalport tennis cup and saucer, no makers mark to the base but the painting would point to Coalport or a Welsh Factory. 

A beautiful porcelain cup and tennis saucer completely hand painted and gilded,  showing no signs of wear to the flower decoration and minimal wear to the guilding on the saucer.

The cup and saucer is in wonderful condition for its 180+ years there are no chips or cracks just a tiny pinhead glaze nick to the porcelain saucer, mentioned for accuracy,  I have taken a picture of this and as you can see this does not affect the display of this beautiful item.  The porcelain in clean and white.

Measures:-

Saucer   -    8.5" (22cm) long by 4.75" (12cm) wide

Cup  -   2.75" (7cm) high

 

I pack well using bubble wrap,  poly chips, (impact resisting materials) and strong boxes.
