Description

A delightful late 19th century German porcelain inkwell modelled as a flower within a leaf.  The inkwell is surrounded by applied flowers set upon a leaf.  The handle is fashioned as the stem and has two ribbons on it.  The piece hass been hand modelled and painted and is very bright and vibrant.

One of a near pair I have listed in two separate auctions.

AR mark to base along with impressed number 35.

Condition  

The piece displays well, there is some damage to the applied flowers, leaves, and to the lid, the handle has been repaired.  Please guage condition using the pictures.

Measurements & Weight

   measures 6" 15cm long, 5" 13cm wide.

Weight Unpacked 350 grams.

Packaging, Payment & Postage and Returns Policy

All parcels are sent using a tracked postal service with insurance. This is done to protect both us the seller, and you, the buyer.

UK SHIPPING

Smaller items with a value up to £36 are sent by 1st Class Recorded delivery within the UK.

Large items of low value are sent DHL, which offers, insurance against non-arrival of the parcel only. No insurance is offered for damage and in the event of a claim the delivery charge is not refunded.

Where parcels need to be sent by DHL within the UK but to outlying areas and offshore islands there will be an additional delivery charge. These areas include, but are not limited to The Highlands and Islands of Scotland, The Isle of Wight, The Isle of Man, The Channel Islands and Northern Ireland. If in Doubt please email before bidding.

Items valued over £36 will be sent by Special Delivery within the UK.

Insurance covers both the cost of the item in the event of loss or damage, plus the delivery charge.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING

Smaller items going overseas are sent Small Packet Airmail signed for with full insurance. Insurance covers both the cost of the item and the delivery charge.

There is a weight limit of 2 kilos and a size limit on the airmail service and parcels that do not fit within these limits are sent by either FEDEX or DHL and are insured against non-arrival, but not against damage. In the event of non-arrival the delivery charge is not refunded.

We always take extreme care when packing our items, using strong boxes, and plenty of bubble wrap, be confident our items will arrive in good condition.

Delivery charges are charged at cost (postal charges and packaging materials)

Tracking numbers are sent to you via an email from Paypal after the item has been dispatched.

International buyers – please note:

·           Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or P&P charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

·           Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. 

·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (courier) company or when you pick the item up. 

Payment

Payment is expected within seven days of the auction ending.

Preferred method of payment is Paypal.

Cheques drawn on a UK bank account are accepted however goods will only be dispatched after the cheque has cleared (7 – 10 working days).

RETURNS POLICY

If you are unhappy with your purchase please email me within 3 days of receipt of the parcel.

If your item is significantly not as described and I agree to take it back, I will. On receipt of the returned item, refund the total of the payment that you made. ie. Final sale price plus delivery charge.

We do not accept refunds for any other reason.
