About Us
We are a meduium sized car dealership located in the remote countryside just outside the market town of Penrith in Cumbria. We offer for sale a variety of vehicles ranging from cheap runarounds to prestige models. We list our cars in a way that you know what you are buying before you arrive and any faults that may exist are highlighted. We source our cars from the local area through various different channels and offer the vast majority for sale on ebay, generally with no reserve. We are easily accesible via road and we are located just off junction 41 of the M6. By rail we are on the west coast main line and the station is five minutes from us. Our area is also served by national bus routes and newcastle airport is only 80 miles away. If you have any general questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Welcome to our auction for this very clean, straight and tidy example of a rare and hard to find Volkswagen Polo saloon. These saloon models are great as you get all the benefits as a normal polo, without the drawback of having a small boot and no room in the rear of the vehicle. The boot on these saloons are great and they are deep also. The room in the rear is more than adequate. One of the best things about this particular one is the fact that it has only covered 43,000 miles from new, which is well below average miles and this is reflected by how nice and tight it feels when you are driving it. Another factor in its favour is the fact that the car has just had a brand new MOT put on it, so it is MOT'd until May of 2009 and this is greater peace of mind for the new owner. We acquired the car from a garage where it has just been fitted with a new cambelt and had a full service. In addition to this the car has just had a brand new head gasket fitted, so again this is somehting that the new keeper need not worry about. The car has a good spec also which includes electric windows and electric mirrors. In addition to this, one of the previous keepers has had an alarm and immobiliser system fitted which comes with two remotes and this works as it should. |

The exterior as you can see from the photographs very good for its age,all the panels are straight and there are no signs of accident damage whatsoever.There are no signs of rust anywhere, and there are definitely no major marks whatsoever, as you would expect from a car with such a low mileage. The car has a superb overall shine. These polos are prone to developing rust on the rear arches and spots of rust on the doors. I can assure you that there is none of that rust on this one and it really is very straight down both sides. The paint is very fresh and there is no signs of paint fade on this one and the new owner will not be disappointed in any way. Granted there are a couple of small marks, but please be aware that these are very minor indeed. They include a small thumb size dent on the nearside wing and a small crack on the plastic trim around the rear number plate. These are pictured below, and you can see for yourselves just how minor they are. There are also odd small indiscrepancies like an odd stone chip here and there, but that really is it. The car is far above average condition for its age. |

| The interior of the car is nice and genuine and all is as it should be. All the knobs and switches work and do what they should do. The seats are free from rips and the roof lining is nice and clean. Only one thing to point out is a very small mark on the drivers side door card. |

| As with all our cars we like to take them on a decent test run to highlight any problems that they may or may not have.This particular one was taken on a run of over fourty miles consisting of a mixture of roads from motorways to back country roads and it performed superbly. The car starts first turn and revs freely with no untoward smoking whatsoever. The car pulls away very well and pulls well through the whole gear range and there are no rattles or untoward noises anywhere.The gears all change well, both up and down the range.The car holds the road well and drives in a straight line with no wandering across the road whatsoever. The car does drive very very well indeed and even on bumpy uneven roads, the car is very smooth indeed as you would expect from a car with such a low mileage like this one. |

In conclusion. a very practical and reliable Volkswagen Polo with only 43,000 miles, a brand new MOT, a new cambelt and a new headgasket - what more could you ask for. I am very confident when I say that this would not look out of place on a main dealers forecourt. |
