1999 V reg

Relisted as a "BUY IT NOW" or "BEST OFFER" thanks to ebay's complicated and somewhat inconsistent rules!!

So sorry to all you 60+ watchers and 4 bidders I had last night!!

This listing is for my 1999 V reg Lotus Elise.

I bought it as a category D insurance loss (the insurance company paid out over £10,000 for this car) and since then all repairs have been done professionally and to the highest standard.

The damage was limited to the front nearside suspension, including the wheel and part of the front clam.

**THERE WAS NO SHELL OR FRAME DAMAGE WHATSOEVER**

I have replaced the following parts with either reconditioned or new genuine Lotus parts...

Front nearside wheel and tyre

Both front discs

Nearside upper & lower wishbones

Nearside hub

All 4 shock absorbers (Koni)

Steering rack (we all know these need replacing occasionally on the Elise - this one won't now!)

Anti roll bar and bushes

Front clam repaired

The car has obviously now had a respray, so has the added advantage that it has no stone chips; and I also replaced the front offside tyre to match the nearside.

The car also has full Willans race harnesses (to keep you firmly in your seat during cornering!) and an induction kit. I'm not sure about other engine modifications, but the performance and sound from that mid-mounted 1800 engine is awesome!

The car has also had a full service, and last week flew through its MOT (with no advisories) first time; and will be taxed for 6 months for the buyer.

It is also fitted with limited edition satin black Lotus alloys, drilled rear discs, and smoked indicators all round to complement the colour of the car.

The hood fits perfectly, there are no leaks or rips (although I can't get in with the roof on, hence the reason for sale), and everything works as it should.

This car previously attracted over 60 watchers and bids had reached £6600 within 3 days, so I don't expect it to hang around too long this time with the buy it now option.
