Rover 75 diesel for sale
The car is in really good condition for its year-both inside and out!
It has the usual little stonechip marks on the bonnet, and a little scuff on the front lower bumper(see pic)
but other than that its in very good condition.
Alloys are in excellent condition too...both rear tyres are new,and fronts still have lots of life left in them.
IT has a cd changer
For its mot it had the following done:
front wishbone replaced
front bush replaced
rear to front brake lines replaced
lots of bulb replacements.
now for the faults....
It will need a set of front brake pads soon-the warning light/wear indicator is on,but its not "metal to metal" yet-still life in them. The airbag light comes on(needs reset) and one of the rear passenger doors has started to stick. The drivers door will only open off the key-others open as usual off the remote key fob.
so not much really....i will try before the end of auction to sort out the sticky door and get the airbag light reset-but no promises.
This car has the legendary BMW diesel engine in it...its almost bombproof! The car will go strong for many years to come!
Its advertised elsewhere,so i reserve the right to withdraw it from the sale here at any time.
The private plate does NOT COME with the car,it will revert to a dvla issued number....unless the car makes £150 over its reserve. If it makes the reserve plus the £150 i will allow the plate to stay on it-its a nice cover plate!
I can be contacted here or on 07958172797 should you have any questions.
Finally...you bid to buy...no tyre kickers...no nigerian businessmen wanting to do million pound swaps...
If you are new to ebay please contact me before bidding ....no feedback buyers/sellers tend to be timewasters(in my experience!) Payment can be either cash or via paypal.... GOOD LUCK !!!!
THE STICKY DOOR HAS NOW BEEN FIXED...AS HAS THE AIRBAG LIGHT............
On 04-May-08 at 01:52:18 BST, seller added the following information:
oops...sorry...sticky door i fixed is now sticky again....i did say it was intermittent.
I have now fixed it twice....only for it to go again.there is a little spring in the handle assembly that is not doing its job.I have taken it apart twice now...and had it working fine after being oiled...only for it to go again as soon as i have used the remote blip on it.
Its stuck firm just now,and i think to fix it permanently it would need the little spring inside replaced.
