For sale is my beloved M Coupe.  It is a fantastic car that I have recently had the VANOS replaced by BMW main dealer Sytner on 30/07/2009.  

I had the VANOS replaced due to noise.  As it was the only problem I had with the car, and I intended to keep the car for many years, I had it done by the professionals at the main dealer BMW Synter Sutton Coldfield.

However, shortly after having replaced the VANOS my financial circumstances have taken a turn for the worse and I am now unemployed. So I have bought a little classic MINI Cooper as I can no longer afford to give this beautiful ///M car the money it deserves.  

It is an expensive car to run!  It is in insurance group 20, the highest group there is, so please ensure you can actually insure the car before getting too excited.  It has been run on nothing but Shell V-Power 99 octane as the engine REQUIRES at least 98 octane fuel.  I have changed the LSD oil to REDLINE 75W90 and the engine oil to CASTROL TWS Motorsport 10w60 fully synthetic about 1000 miles ago.

It has a K&N panel filter (not one of those ugly induction kits), Scorpion exhaust backboxes and a Xenon 8000K HID kit.  Other than that it is completely standard as I feel that I wouldn't want to ruin a future classic such as this.  The panel filter fits in the original air box and is the same physical dimensions as a regular replacement OEM paper element.  Nothing on the car looks molested or "boy racer".  The backboxes aren't loud and are of a professional "expensive" sound like an ///M car should have.

The car has had both it's rear top shock mounts and the front prop shaft rubber coupling replaced as the rubber had began to perish due to age.

The car drives superb.  It is a luxury grand tourer rather than an out-an-out sports car.  The suspension is soft and comfortable.  The ride is smooth.  The torque is reassuringly strong.  The gears are tall and long.  

If you are looking for a boy racer car, please look elsewhere.  You will be disappointed and I wouldn't sell this beautiful car to anybody who would abuse it.

In my ownership it has been serviced by my father who has owned and cherished BMWs for the past 25 years from an E21 to mine and my brothers Z3's.  (he has a Z3 2.0i currently and my father owns an E36 323i Touring)

We are BMW mad in this household and really look after them well.  I will be really sad to see this car go but I have no choice as my insurance runs out shortly and I haven't got the money to re insure it (being a group 20 car)
