Buyer bought car and before he could collect I found a small water leak coming from below vehicle.  

Not knowing how serious the fault was I refunded his money.

The leak turned out to be coming from the thermostat housing,

this has been replaced and is now working ok.   

I originally bought this car as a 'substitute' while mine was being repaired, it is now fixed so this one unfortunately has

to go, although i will miss the aircon and other extras i cannot afford to run two cars.
I have downloaded pics and to avoid any disapointment please read the stuff below, i have been as

honest as i can be and to give more background info I have copied the writeup from previous owner

below so you can see the recent history as they owned her for 2 years.

My partner chose this car because of the heated adjustable leather seats and she no longer

suffers back ache when driving. Miracle or good design?

We've had this Very comfortable, safe, reliable, economical, practical and good looking family

car for 2 years, intending to keep it forever, but circumstances have changed and we now have a 7

seater Merc and bicycles.

As an ex 2cv owner, I have been converted to the safety benefits of cruise control etc. and

especially those amazing seats, We'll really miss them on a frosty morning.

You can benefit from the money we've spent on it. Our loss, your gain

Badged and insured as a plain old TD, it actually has all the extras associated with the top

specification S.E. model.

These include:

Air Con
Cruise control
Heated Front Seats
Full Leather Trim
Roof Bars
Alloy Wheels
Drives well, steering, brakes etc not like a high mileage car, but it has been regularly and

fully serviced by Volvo or reputable independent garages, most invoices available as evidence. 2

brake calipers, Brake pipes and discs replaced all round. Gearbox and clutch replaced last year,

not much else to go wrong. Loads of tread on tyres which are not low profile, thus giving

slightly higher gearing and ground clearance. Plenty of life left in engine, recently had new cam

belt and alternator. puff of smoke on cold starting but then runs cleanly and smooth Average fuel

consumption is around 45 mpg, we're steady old gits so no idea how fast it goes!

Paint work polishes up lovely, though there are a few areas of rust coming through, the worst

being on the bonnet near the grille and on the window surround of drivers door. There are some

scuff marks on the bumpers, chipped paintwrk and surface rust in a couple of places, about what

you would expect from a car this age. There is a dent around the rear light unit and the paint

has cracked off. Part of the plastic edge of the front spoiler is missing and  the plastic trim

under the engine is held on with tie wraps.

I love the interior, cleans up easy, mats to protect carpet, drivers seat slight scuff marks.

Boot area has had dog living in it, cleans up well but scratch marks on plastic and the clips

that the lugage cover clips onto are missing.

Genuine Volvo dog/ luggage guard fits behind rear head rests and there is a slight tear in the

roof lining where it fits.

What else is there to say?

Oh yes, the headlamp wipers have never worked, but we've managed to survive without them
The passenger side front window opens and close ok on the door switch but the center switch near the handbrake will only open the window.
Piece of trim around the rear offside wheel arch is missing. 

The above makes it sound quite tatty, it isn't, I just want to be honest. Its a ten year old

family car that still looks good and being Volvo, has plenty of life left in it yet.

THERE IS NO "BUY IT NOW PRICE" so please don't ask.
