For Sale is our Rover Cabriolet which we bought 12 months ago as our second car. We are selling it because we have 4 children, and even as a second car it represents an indulgence (on my part - my wife tells me!).

The service history is as follows: 02/01 7032 miles; 03/02 18059 miles; 03/03 28080 miles; 02/04 35400; 07/05 50589 miles; 01/06 55580 miles.

I bought with approx 64k miles, and have done @ 5500 miles. During my ownership I have had water pump changed together with all the belts (29.10.07) and also importantly had the cylinder head gasket removed, stripped, resurfaced and then refitted with new gasket & bolts etc (22.11.07). This work also incorporated new thermostat kit/engine flush/new oil & filter/plug leads/anti freeze.

The MOT is til 9.4.09 and the work required to pass was bulb (rear registration plate) and front tyre. Two other tyres were advisories, and these too have been replaced. There is no tax (expired 30.4.08).

The owner prior to me informed me that he had replaced the outer (black) hood just prior to me buying the car, and this like the rest of the car is in very good condition.

The car has alloys, mud flaps, CD/MP3 player, leather seats, power hood, tonneau cover for the hood. The only problem to report is that the blower has just stopped working and I have not had chance to remedy - therefore the sale is based on this item not working. There are no dings etc to bodywork, it really is in good condition. I have not advertised the vehicle elsewhere - I will wait til the end of the auction to see if reserve is met.
