1998 KAWASAKI ZX 600-E6 (ZZR 600) in metallic burgundy.
History
This bike had one owner from new until I bought it in May 2008 with a view to taking my test and using it myself. However, I'm not going to be taking my test right now, so the bike is up for auction.
The original owner has put 19,400 miles on it up to the end of April 2008 when the tax and MoT expired. He had recently replaced both tyres at that point (Dunlop Sportmax) but advised that it will need a chain and sprocket set for the next MoT.
Condition
The bike is in generally very good condition with the exception of some scuffs to the fairing paintwork and a crack in the fairing below the headlamp. All of these are shown in the photos, along with a crack to the front offside footpeg hanger. The ball at the end of the front brake lever is broken off, but the lever still works perfectly. There are no scrapes to the tank or the engine/gearbox casings
Engine, gearbox and clutch are all in excellent order. Forks are in good condition with no rust and no leaks. Exhaust downpipes have been replaced with stainless steel items coupled with the original cans.
Auction
The five-day auction has a 99p starting price. I have set a sensible but low reserve price. In fairness to all bidders I will not reveal the reserve price. The auction will not end early and the bike is not advertised anywhere else: the highest bidder (once the reserve is met) will win the auction.
Important: if you have any negative feedback or a low feedback score (less than 10), please contact me via the 'E-mail the Seller' link before bidding otherwise your bid may be rejected.
