Hello
Welcome to my auction, this is for a beautiful Jaguar XJ8. Fitted with a brand new multi point LPG System with a 12 month guarantee !!!!
This one is a very high spec. model. She is in one of the most sought after colours a truly stunning Seafrost Silver. This was a special order colour and is quite rare. The full leather interior is just as lovely.
This car has been chauffeur driven for most of its life and maintained regardless of cost.
In addidtion, the wood is in perfect condition.
This big cat has lots of extras, including
Multi Change CD Player
Electric Seats
Air Conditioning (ice cold)
Switchable Sports Gearbox
On Board Computer
Auto Headlamps
Cruise Control
Parking sensors
Jaguar Phone Sytem
dial from dash, auto radio cut out when calls come in/out
jaguar system including cradle is fitted, just add a jaguar handset (£50 on ebay)
The condition can only be described as stunning, both inside and out, I hope this comes accross in the photos, but you are of course welcome to come and view for yourself.
My photos do not do this Seafrost metalic paint justice, again, come and see for yourself.
This is a 1998 model, and will of course have a very tiny blemish, but nothing to detract from the lovely looks of this big cat.
The interior is as good as the body, with just a couple of very small scatches on the driver seat. (again, come and see for yourself)
For those of you who have not yet owned an XJ8 you will be amazed by the "grace, pace and space" and magic carpet ride of this classic British sports saloon.
Perhaps even more amazing is the fuel ecconony, motorway driving will often give 30 to the gallon and and overall mpg in the mid 20s is to be expected.
Of course, you can reduce this if you choose to select Sport mode on the switchable auto gearbox and watch as the countryside falls away at an alarming rate !
With the new LPG System your fuel cost will be very very low, but more about LPG later.
I have a very full service history showing many thousands of pounds spent over the last few years. I should add that the history is all Jaguar Main Dealer and I have many of the old invoices, in addition to a fully stamped service book, and some old mot certificates. This car has been kept in tip top condition, and does not look or feel like it has covered over 140,000 miles.
The last mot was in October at 144505 miles.
The Service History is

In addition last week I spent £600 with leading Jaguar Specilist XJK and also had 8 new plugs fitted.
The condition is, as stated, quite stunning, everything works on the car as it should, the drive is wonderful and she feels tight and responsive.
The only two faults I have found are
1 The electric arial does not retract
2 The front cup holders are tricky to open and close.
Having spent £600 with a Jaguar specialist last week and fitting a £2000 LPG system, I will leave you to fit a new arial (they cost around £20)
So, there we are, it is hard to find an XJ8 in this condition, even harder to find one with a New LPG System.
LPG
For those of you new to the joys of low cost LPG motoring, you will be amazed.
The Jaguar is fitter with a New Multipoint LPG System with a tank fitted in the spare wheel well, so no loss of boot space.
She starts on nasty expensive Petrol and then switches to LPG as soon as she is warmed up, the switch over is automatic you just keep driving.
The performance on LPG is the same as on Petrol, you will not notice any difference at all, the only way you can tell you are driving on LPG (other than a small green light on the dash) is that when you come to fill up, it will cost between a third and a half of the cost of petrol !!!!!!!!
LPG is now very wideley available, however the cost does vary, far more than petrol prices. If you have room for your own tank at home, you can have LPG delivered for 35p a litre plus vat. The cost at the pumps just now is between 42p a litre (if you shop around) or 50p a litre in the more expensive motorway services.
Even at the most expensive service stations, it is still less than HALF the cost of petrol, why............. well LPG is a green fuel compared to pertol or Diesel, it produces very very low emmisions, so the government has committed to keep the tax on LPG much lower than petrol.
In addition, being a Green fuel, Red Ken gives an exemption from the London Congestion Charge, once you register your car as LPG.
Of course you can run on petrol whenever you wish, just flick the switch as you drive along, and you can switch back and forth between LPG and pertol without noticing.
The LPG Sytem fitted is New and cost just over £2000. it is still under guarantee for 11 months and that transfers to you. The system comes with a Gas Certificate.
So, a very pretty high spec. Jaguar, in a stunning colour, beautiful condition inside and out, a full Main Dealer Service History, giving Champagne motoring for the cost of Diet Coke.
The car is here at my home, 10 mins from J16 of the M6 in Cheshire, you are very welcome to come and view before you bid.
You are also welcome to have an AA/RAC inspection, or even better bring a friendly mechanic with you before the auction ends.
The usual ebay rules apply, you bid to buy, not to waste time, however, if you are too far away to come and view, and upon winning you are not happy with the car, then you can walk away (I will even drive you to the station) without any action or neg. feedback from me. The car is that nice !!!
Please feel free to email any questions you may have (other than whats the reserve) I try to answer all emails the same day, but you may prefer to phone me on 07802 362631 Nick.
Jaguars like this do not come along very often, good luck.
