My Honda Deauville was registered in August 1998 and has had 4 previous owners.
It is taxed until February 2010 and has an MOT until May 2010.
The bike has been serviced regularly and as recently as July.
The bike does 60 miles daily, 5 days a week and has proved to be very reliable getting me back and forth to work. However, she is old (65,000 miles and counting), is not garaged and the last 3 years of winter salted roads mean that she is not the best looking model you will ever see. See the photographs.
Faults : heated handlebars which I never got to work, pannier lids need some adjustment to close tightly and a generally scruffy appearance. Within the last 2 weeks a car with bicycles strapped to the back gently rammed her and a pedal has created a 50p size hole in the fairing under the left handlebar. Oil stains from a recent leak (now fixed)
However, the engine is unburstable and will cruise happily on the motorway all day, the tyres still have life in them and she can be ridden away and used without any problem. It has a MOTAD exhaust and stainless steel pipes.
If you want a clean, tidy bike then do not bid.
Viewings are welcome to avoid any problems after the auction ends, because if you BID you BUY!. You can have a test ride but only on leaving me a £500 cash deposit.
