The BMW is in good second hand condition, comes with an M.O.T. valid until August 2009 and was serviced last weekend. It is ready to drive away. A supurb multi-purpose or family car - great for long journeys and not affected by the recent changes to road tax due to its model year. IT IS FOR SALE WITH NO RESERVE.

It is an old style (pre 2004) 5-Series BMW - described by many as the best tourer BMW have built - and comes with all of the usual refinements including:

  • Leather Seats.
  • Electric windows and sunroof.
  • 6 CD autochanger, tape and radio, Business BMW stereo, (great sound)!
  • Cruise control.
  • Dual climate control with air conditioning (see below). 
  • Automatic gearbox with sequential manual mode.
  • Computer with MPG, remaining miles in tank, fuel consumption read out.
  • M Class Steering Wheel.
  • Flat folding rear seats with 3 seatbelts.


As mentioned above the car has all of the necessary paperwork, (M.O.T. V5c), and is in great condition for it's age. The mileage is above average but it has been serviced regularly and drives like new. These engines can do 4-500 000 miles. It needs taxing from 1st August.

Known issues: the car has a few scratches and marks as should be expected and there is a small dent on the passenger side skirting; the rear passenger side central lock needs a new solenoid; the climate control does not work; there is some cosmetic damage to the drivers armrest console plastic surround (though all the functions still work).

A: It does mid 30s in town which is what I've mainly use it for, but on long journeys it beats 50 mpg i reckon.
