1997 Volvo T5 CD estate. Good condition.

Comprehensive full service history up to 149,000 when I had the cambelt changed and a service recorded. Oil and filter were then changed at 160,000 with Magnatec, not recorded. Service light is now on indicating a need for a service. Uses a very small amount of oil between changes

The ABS module has been repaired, last but one MOT, so should last another 150,000 miles (common problem). Just had a new bosch ignition coil and most recently a new heavy duty battery.

I have just put it through an MOT and it passed first time (just a couple of bulbs) so 12 months MOT, the only advisories were a couple of aging gaitors and a brake pipe showing signs of corrosion.

Garnet red exterior with alacantra and leather cream interior, very loud stereo - 6 cd changer in boot.

Electric memory drivers seat, dual zone climate control (not as cold as it could be, tho still alright for the UK).

Smooth auto box that works in all modes (economy, winter and sport), kick down comes on like a train - with your foot down it doesn't change into fourth gear until 110 mph (where permissable)

This car is very tight, and goes like stink whilst still being able to carry five people and luggage in comfort.

The car has been our family transport for around three years and although not 'concours' the interior is in good condition.

Bits that are wrong are that the drviers seat heat button does not work - when we got it the button worked intermittantly and now the led does not light up (the element seemed fine when the switch worked). The front cigarette lighter has ceased to work (the car has not been smoked in, this was used for sast nav) - but there is another between the front seats. A couple of dashboard lights have failed. There is a loose piece of trim on the built-in child seat (does not affect use)

Mechanically it is fine. Engine purrs as only five cylinders can and goes to the rev limiter and back without issue and is leak free as far as I can see

The body work is OK, there are some touched up stone chips on the front, a slight dent just infront of the drivers door and a gash on the rear bumper courtesy of a low wall. The alloys probably need a professional clean. One of the lower fog lights does not work.

the car is currently SORN, viewing is welcome. I'll take you up and down the road to show it works. Comes with three keys, one plip and all documentation ( 2x books of SH, radio code etc)
