For sale is my 1997 Volvo S70 TDi SE Auto, the car is MOT`d until November 2008 and Taxed until the end of June 2008, it is currently undergoing a cherished plate transfer and this should be completed by the end of the auction, the car has lots of history, I purchased it in December 2007 from a Volvo specialist, in November 2007 they had done a top end engine overhaul, head gasket and cambelt change, the car has been returning 35mpg round town and I`ve even had 49mpg on a long run, it has 4 nearly new tyres, a superb stereo system, half leather interior, electric drivers seat, climate control, criuse control, tow-bar, front fog lamps, alloy wheels, electric sunroof, remote locking and alarm, the car was my pride and joy having owned volvos for many years and being a member of the owners club, unfornunatly about 2 weeks ago the engine developed a rattling noise whilst on my way home, not having any breakdown cover I drove it slowly 25 miles home and thats where its been ever since, it starts and runs fine, the noise sounds like its coming from the top of the engine but I can`t guarantee this, my local volvo dealer have told me to allow at least £300 just to investigate, I have therefore decided to sell the car and buy another one.
