I have owned the car for a little over 12 months & during this time I have replaced the following parts, as required;

·         Power steering pump & pipework

·         Harmonic balancer (reduced diesel vibration)

·         Rear wiper assembly

·         2 x front tyres

The following can be described as the “bad bits” and are included for completeness;

·         Small mark on nearside rear wheel arch, several small marks on the top of the rear bumper due to loading / unloading, slight marking of both wing mirrors

·         Drivers seat is showing signs or wear & has a small tear to the leather side panel, interior is otherwise excellent

·         Power steering makes a small grumbling sound when turning at low speed, both the pump & pipes have been recently replaced & everything checked

·         Air conditioning unit is operational but could do with recharging, I have owned the car for over a year and it never bothered me enough to get it done

·         One of the rear electric windows is not working & I have not had time to investigate this

In summary this is a good example of the highly regarded V70, benefiting from the excellent 2.5 diesel engine and extensive service history. Overall condition is very good with just a few minor issues as outlined above.

*** UPDATE 15/5/08: I have just had the car MOT'd with only 2 very small & inexpensive repairs required - therefore now has a full MOT which expires 16/5/09 ***
