1997 Peugeot 106 1.4 XR, 5 Door – rare car

The car has had a new indicator stalk (£75.00), 3 new tyres June 2007 and the rear suspension arm bushes have been replaced, also in June 2007.  The receipts are available with the car, including the receipts for the servicing. Cam belt was changed at 96000 miles.

New catalytic converter fitted 19/09/07, centre pipe and rear box/tailpipe fitted 4/3/08 (receipts available)

Keypad immobiliser and remote central locking.

Although this is quite high mileage (123000 miles) it is a great little run around, falling into the lower road tax band of £115 and is also cheap to insure and run.

The interior is tidy and there are no rips/tears to the upholstery (see pics).  The exterior has a few little chips as you expect on a vehicle this age, but is generally in a sound condition.

MOT expires 27th June 2008

Bad Bits:  The rear n/s brake occasionally sticks, and I assume that it is the rear wheel cylinder leaking however I do not have the time to investigate/repair.

Also at some point in its life the front offside tyre has scrubbed through the washer bottle and I am sure that this could easily be replaced from a scrap yard or repaired using some kind of plastic repair kit like epoxy, again I do not have the time to investigate/repair.

It puffs a bit when started form cold.

This is a rare car, as such is really worth having a look at and is by no means at the end of its life.
