Please take two minutes to read and absorb these terms as they are for mutual benefit and will be strictly applied.
We strive to describe cars as accurately as possible, there is no advantage in miss describing a car. Potential customers walk away unhappy and we lose a sale.
In our listings we quote the mileage reading on the odometer at the time of sale. Unless we state otherwise, please assume that this is INCORRECT. These are old cars, and some of them will have gone round the clock once or had replacement speedos fitted. If in any doubt about our policy on this, please telephone us for clarification.
POSITIVE feedback is what we strive for, EVERY TIME.
click here to see our latest feedbackWe are so confident in our descriptions that if, when collecting the vehicle, you find it is mis-described then you are more than welcome to walk away and the sale needn’t proceed.
The winning bidder must pay a £250 deposit via Pay-Pal (this works with Visa/Mastercard/Switch and is non refundable) or in person within 48 hours of the end of the sale, if you do not know how to do this, we can guide you through the process and send you some instructions. If you feel you need to see the car before you make your deposit then you will have to do this within 48 hours. If this condition is not met your bid will be automatically cancelled.
After the deposit has been paid (please remember that if I have not been accurate with my description then you are entitled to a full refund), the full balance must be paid and the car collected within 5 days of the end of the sale. Failure to pay and collect the car within this period will result in a loss of the deposit and the car being re-offered to the 3 next highest bidders or re-listed. If you require storage beyond 5 days then this can be arranged at £10 per day.
At the time of collection the balance must be paid in full, using cash or banker’s draft. We will need to verify the bankers draft by calling the issuer to check authenticity. Cheques are also acceptable but need to have cleared before you are able to take possession of the vehicle.
The bid you submit is final, after all this is an auction, not an opportunity to begin negotiation upon collection which we will not entertain under any circumstances.
Description & Warranty Our description of this vehicle is a general idea of condition. It is not exhaustive as a car is a very complex mechanical item and it would be impossible to inspect every item. One person's idea of condition is very different to the next, especially when it comes to classic cars. Please let common sense prevail. Any obvious faults that may be apparent with the vehicle should be mentioned within the description, if there are none reported then there are no obvious faults at the time of the listing.
Please remember this is a classic and by default OLD car. Expect there to be jobs that need doing, faults and imperfections . If an item or detail is not listed, please do not make presumptions regarding condition/specification, get hold of us and ask.
You can obviously test drive the car before buying / leaving to confirm that it drives as we say it does. If it doesn't...then you walk away.
ebay transactions do not carry a warranty. You can obtain classic car warranties via a number of providers.
