I purchased the vehicle from a racecourse, its was fitted with a 5th wheel, and air brakes, and used like an articulated truck for towing the starting traps.

since owning it i have removed the rear bulkhead, and fitted a rear tub.

this is the rear why the rear tub is a different colour.

it has been company owned for the vast majoritiy of its life, and its wanted for nothing.

since owning the vehicle, all oils, engine, gearbox, tranfer box, axles, have been changed religiously.

prop shafts have been greased with water resistant high pressure grease very regularly.

R380 gearbox selects all gears without fuss,

although it will struggle with second gear, if rushed, typical for a defender of this age.

300 tdi engine is excellent, starts first time everytime, no need for the heater plugs.

no smoke, apart from the usual black on start up, dose not use any oil or water.

Chassis Condition

As you can see from the pictures this original chassis, outriggers, rear cross member 

are in absolute excellent condition,

the vehicle has never seen a coat of waxoyl, any inspection welcome. 

floor plates and front bulk head are in great condition, with no rot whatsoever.

only bad points are a off roading dent to the front passenger wing.

All thats required to make this look fantastic is a paint job, or 5 litres of NATO green paint and a roller off ebay
