Recommended application instructions

This product is an official Lextra sleeve badge and if applied correctly will last the life of your shirt. This sleeve badge is very simple to apply and can be applied using a household iron. We cannot however accept responsibility for any damage to your shirt during application if you choose to apply yourself.

Recommended application instructions - heat press

  • Place badge glueside (rough side) down on the shirt in correct position.
  • Temperature: 160 degrees C
  • Cover with material making sure not to move the patch ideally use a Teflon shirt
  • Time: 20 seconds
  • Pressure: Firm (2-2.5 bar)
  • Do not wash shirt for 48 hours after application

Recommended application instructions - Household Iron

  1. Heat Iron to 160 degrees C (Two dots on most household irons)
  2. Place badge glueside down onto sleeve in correct position
  3. Cover with material such as cotton handkerchief, thin pillow case etc
  4. Place iron over the whole of the badge making sure you do not move it and hold for 20 seconds with a firm pressure
  5. Remove iron and material and allow to cool for a few seconds
  6. If the patch lifts anywhere, recover and press with iron for a further 5 seconds.
  7. Your shirt should now be complete and looking good.
